Hey, guys! It’s the weekend so I’m going to make this a pretty short post. If you follow me on Twitter or Snapchat then you know I’ve been looking all around Houston for the limited edition Crown Royal Vanilla. Well, I FINALLY found it last weekend. 🙂 OMG! It is the bomb and I knew I’d have to make several recipes featuring it. So there will be a Crown Royal Vanilla recipe series over the next few weeks on my blog. Fair warning! LOL Today, I read that it was National Lemonade Day so I thought incorporating Crown Vanilla into lemonade wouldn’t be a bad idea! Behold, the Crown Royal Vanilla Mixed Berry Lemonade!

How to Make Crown Royal Vanilla Mixed Berry Lemonade

This is a super easy, flavorful, refreshing drink to have in your mixed drink recipe arsenal. I started making the Crown Royal Vanilla Mixed Berry Lemonade by creating a lemon infused simple syrup. Simple syrup is a 1:1 ratio of sugar and water that is used to sweeten a lot of cocktails. I took a zester and zested 1 lemon into my cup of organic evaporated cane juice (raw sugar) and a cup of water. I let the mixture boil for about 2 minutes then I removed it from the stove to let it cool.

Next, I used my citrus juicer and juiced a few lemons. To be perfectly honest, I originally planned on making this in a pitcher but didn’t have enough lemon juice so I decided to make individual lemonades. I think this idea is even more fantastic than the pitcher because if you are making this for a few guests they can decide exactly how strong they want their drink to be! So if you like your spiked lemonade extra hard go ahead and add as much Crown as you want to your individual drink. But if you are a light weight then go ahead and add like half a shot to your drink, almost like adding vanilla flavoring! Now everybody’s happy! 🙂

So to make the actual drink I grabbed my cocktail shaker and threw in a few cubes of ice, lemon juice, lemon infused simple syrup, water, and Crown Royal Vanilla. Shook things up a bit and strained it into a glass that was halfway filled with frozen strawberries, blueberries, and red raspberries. GUYS! You HAVE to try this. It’s pure bliss! It’s pretty much perfect if I do say so myself! LOL

I’d advise you guys to go and make this like yesterday! It’s not difficult to make and if you don’t have a cocktail shaker try shaking it in a mason jar or you can just stir it and then add it to your glass. There is no excuse for not making this drink. So I’m going to end here and go make myself another one. Okay? Don’t judge me! *insert cheesy grin*
