In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
-
If your wings are whole, cut them into drums and flats and remove the wing tip. Save the wing tips for future stock or broth by placing them in a ziplock bag and storing them in the freezer.
-
Pat the wings dry and then sprinkle the baking powder seasoning mixture onto the chicken wings.
-
Grease 2 racks in your air fryer. If your air fryer only has a basket, then grease that.
-
Place the wings onto the greased racks. If you’re using a basket, you may have to cook all of the chicken in two batches.
-
Cook the wings for 15 minutes at 250℉. Flip the wings over and switch the racks around so that the top will be at the bottom and the bottom rack will be at the top.
-
Now, cook the wings at 400℉ for at least 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken wings are done and crispy.
-
Place the wings into a large bowl and then coat them with the wing sauce. Toss in the parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, and toss the wings a little bit more.
